If you can call it communication skills, we can help.
We run training programmes or coaching for small groups or individuals. That used to be face to face - we’d travel the world, glamorously. Right now, it’s mostly virtual. But still small groups or individuals. We run training in anything you can call communication skills - presenting, pitching, persuading, influencing, negotiating, writing, handling conflict, leadership.
Sometimes our clients come to us with a really simple need: “we need two days of presentation skills, please”. And we can do that. But there’s often something a bit more specific: “we have a group of people who need to present budgets more persuasively”. It’s the same skills, but with a twist. And sometimes it’s not just a twist, but an entirely new cocktail: “we need a bit of pitching, and a bit of negotiating, and a bit of conflict handling”. Great! It’s a unique need, so we’ll create something unique to meet it.
We do other things too.
We spend most of our time in training rooms, real or virtual. But we also produce lots of digital extras - videos, podcasts, documents. It’s not the same thing as training, of course. If you want to guarantee that you improve skills, you need to try things and get feedback on how you did. But as reminders, refreshers or just a standalone source of some really good ideas about communicating, they’re great.
English for Business
Everything we do is about improving the way people communicate. And that includes improving English. For 56 years, we’ve been welcoming people to our training centre in London, to spend an intensive week or more, in a group or one to one.
Your English level might be fantastic but you know you can’t make quite the same impact or get ideas across with the same nuance as in your mother tongue. Or you might really struggle to handle the day to day stuff - calls and meetings and presentations. We can help. We’ll get you to do the things you normally do in English, then give you the language you need to do it better.
As you can imagine, COVID has changed the way we train. So we’re doing it virtually for now. And we’ll soon be back to in-person, intensive, immersion training in London. To find out more about virtual or face-to-face English training, get in touch.
